By washing your collegiate bedding sets and your pillowcases inside out, you prevent the colors from fading. For each wash you should stop no more than 1 duvet cover of 2 persons or 2 duvet covers of 1 person in the machine. This prevents the substances from rubbing too much against each other and that the dirt does not go well. Choose a liquid detergent for delicate or colored laundry. Use a small amount so that it does not leave stains.
Do not use fabric softener! This makes your duvet cover absorb less moisture and feel stiffer. Tip: adding half a cup of vinegar makes your laundry soft. Do not worry about the smell because it disappears during washing. The sooner you remove the bed linen from the machine after washing, the less wrinkles!
Bedding can shrink in the drying cabinet due to the high temperatures. Hang your bed linen on the clothesline, preferably as wide as possible and turned inside out. Do you still prefer the dryer for a quick solution? Then use a low temperature program. Your bed linen is permeated by the fresh smell of ozone in the air. Moreover, you turn off bacteria and bad odors in a natural way.
